Charlotte is currently working at Royal Brompton hospital and has been in this position for over 2 and a half years, working as an Exercise Practitioner, within the adult CF physio team.

Her aim is to support, empower and advise patients to develop behaviour changes and exercise routines in to their day-to-day lives, alongside supporting patients who have been very unwell during their admission to try and improve their fitness levels, with the aim to get them back to their normal baseline. She also assists and advises patients on how to adapt their exercise routine accordingly to their disease and lifestyle.

Charlotte finds it extremely rewarding and fulfilling to see patients improve their fitness and make lifestyle changes towards reaching their goals.

Zelda Beverley works at the Royal Brompton Adult Cystic Fibrosis unit as a specialist physiotherapist and has a keen interest in exercise both at work and at home! Her first degree was in Exercise and Sports Science reflecting this love for both studying and enjoying being active. She has also completed a masters module in Exercise in Health and Disease. She is looking at developing exercise testing in their service at the Royal Brompton but her real passion is helping people with Cystic Fibrosis (and her friends and family!) enjoy a more active lifestyle.

Personally, she loves any sport or activity but most of her time is spent playing hockey or on her bike (she has 5 bikes!). Last year she had a mad 5 minutes at New Year and entered an Ironman Triathlon in Wales and after training she completed it in September taking a whopping 14hrs!!
