CF Belly

Equipment needed: Mat, block

Almost everybody with CF is familiar with the “CF Belly.” We have to deal with digestive issues, the ongoing “food baby” belly, and all the body image hang-ups that go with it.

This short yoga series targets all those issues - we’ll do lots of twists and other postures to help improve digestion, and lots of moves that will build our core strength to help support our belly from the inside out.

This video does not include a warm-up. Since it includes a lot of twists, be sure to warm your body up with a couple minutes of cardio or a few vinyasa flows before you start.

Definitely watch the session before starting it so you know what's coming. I personally didn't enjoy it as I am not as flexible as the instructor so found some of the bends hard to do and I lost interest. I also found it hard to steady my breathing and relax into the zen like state. Maybe as I progress with my fitness I will come back to this session and hopefully be better at it.
